Traveling the world and capturing its beauty from my point of view...
Born on September 16, 1981, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and living in Houston since March 2009. I am an electronics engineer working in the Oil & Gas Industry and because of my work I have the opportunity to travel a lot around the globe. My camera is the first thing I pack everywhere I travel.
Looking at photographs was something I always enjoyed doing and admired. I remember when I was just a kid, every time I looked at a picture I always wondered: “Who took this picture? Why was it taken? What was on their mind while taking this?”
My parents gave me a film camera when I was only 14 years old., but my real interest started four years later when, after saving money from my first pay checks, I bought my first digital point-and-shoot camera .
After that, I started to outgrow my cameras pretty fast, always trying something new, always wanting different results.
Slowly my hobby has become my passion and nowadays taking pictures is just something I love doing. I have never taken a photography class, or enrolled in any kind of technical training, what I do comes from my eyes and my heart.
I believe that with just the right light, the little details one might miss everyday, can be beautifully and brilliantly preserved with the push of a button.
